Alvarez Cebrian, comisariada por Conchi Alvarez <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;&#8230; Forms, colours &#8230;&#8221;, that simple but, at the same time, profound. Two great painters, Juan Manuel Alvarez Cebrian, a solid pillar of our Gallery, and M\u00aa Jes\u00fas Ram\u00edrez, an artist full of fresh air, make up this exhibition, incardinated in the generic \u201cshapes\u201d and \u201ccolours\u201d from two very different creative positions: figuration &#8220;versus&#8221; abstraction?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c1lvarez Cebri\u00e1n shows in his latest works, two antagonistic series: \u201cGroves\u201d and \u201cFabrics\u201d. Antagonistic because, while the &#8220;Groves&#8221; lull us to sleep in a surreal, magical, attractive, almost melancholic atmosphere, perhaps suggesting, from a close format, that window to the imaginary that we should all have, which we would all dream of peering int.\u00a0 Fabrics \u201d, on the other hand, are a burst of color, a full symphony of chromatic lights and shapes, perhaps multiple signs that contain a secret code, or simply a masterful game of technical virtuosity. And finally, \u201cHouses\u201d, a painting with a atmosphere of Turner, loaded with enigmatic symbols, the result of a refined technique and apparently nervous brushwork. The maturity that his painting has acquired takes over the canvases and panels, making us savor each sight with delight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">M\u00aa Jes\u00fas Ram\u00edrez is a painter who loves matter and walks towards abstraction, that is why her landscapes are tactile, conceptual, looking for essences. In this exceptional synopsis exercise, she unravels lyrical images that seem to have achieved a life of their own after their genesis.
