She is a young French painter, author of impressive works. Her fascination with the Mediterranean is always present in all of her works, both in North Africa, where she spent part of her childhood, and in France where she has been living to this day. She uses formats of all sizes for a light support, Canson paper and an ancient technique: ink. The coloured inks in her brushes seem to burst with colourist impetus at the service of a theme as old as man, femininity, in its many aspects: with capital letters when it goes back to the cult of the mother goddess, the Mediterranean Potnia Theron, when treating the motherhood, with apparent childlike candour in women’s gatherings; with passion and sensuality when dealing with female sexuality as the culmination of loving sentiment.<\/em><\/p>\n

The closed composition predominates the absence of perspective, the overlapping of figures and a certain tendency to \u201chorror vacui\u201d achieve striking works of apparent ingenuity, where concept triumphs over form. In this way we witness the resounding expression of the feminine interior from the perspective of a woman who masterfully unravels the mysteries of her sex. The oil paintings on canvas consummate the author’s cultural symbiosis. East and West are present in medinas of cities and oases, timeless\u2026in which colour and light make up sketches worthy of the Thousand and One Nights. The irregular, chaotic urban planning breaks down into tonal mosaics that invite daydreams in which all the senses participate. Works full of optimism in which time stands still; full of kindness, warmth and feminine tenderness that does not understand religion, language, race… The execution is based on long, languid brushstrokes, or brisk touches loaded with matter in the palm trees. The composition shows horizons in which architecture fills everything, but revealing multiple intoxicating sensations.<\/em><\/p>\n
