Miguel Angel Iglesias is an artist and creator of colourful urban landscapes with stunning and exquisite perspectives. His urban landscapes could well be allegorical self-portraits, due to the profound emotions he manages to capture in his acrylics on canvas and on paper.
It is easy to notice the depths of the inner world of someone who began loving beauty ever since he first visited the Louvre as a child. He creates magical landscapes from zenithal views of contemporary city centres. Over there, from high up in the sky, he examines the forests of skyscrapers, which he then converts into beautiful sculptures, whilst pondering on the anonymity of the millions of beings who inhabit those soaring menhirs that populate the beautiful and modern cities.
